Paperama 1.5.7

The puzzles in Paperama start off simple enough, even to the point where you'd think that the puzzle mechanic is not capable of generating anything remotely challenging. Boy, you'd be wrong.

Here, you will need to fold a sheet of origami paper (square) to fit within a certain geometric shape. The "paper" behaves like a post it note that's sticky on both sides. What i mean to say is that once you've folded a square into a triangle, that triangle is what's left to work with. Each level has a limit of folds that you can make before you fail. Fortunately, there is an unlimited number of undo-s, so you can experiment as much as you like.

Experimenting in Paperama is actually required. Some players may not have a sufficiently developed eye to see how a square can turn into an L shape, for example. There are a few hints that are given for free, but buying more hints is very enticing. However, using a hint only gives away the first move, which you might already have tried. Still, even that can put your focus on a more limited spectrum of moves, which is totally fine.

What I found a bit lacking in Paperama is the control. There are not enough frames to portray the paper fold during small adjustments. In these cases, the paper edges look like they snap to some invisible grid, instead of gliding smoothly to the desired position. This is not a major complaint by any means, It's just that I think it could have been done better.

In any case, Paperama is an enjoyable puzzler, that can be relaxing even in during a particularly dazzling level.
